It was while remodeling her first home in 2001 that re:source places founder Kiki Christensen began to investigate healthier, alternative materials for her family’s well being.  Kiki soon realized that traditional building materials and practices were often unhealthy for humans and other living creatures, not to mention the damage they did to the planet that we all share.  She knew she needed to build a more natural home, but during the research and bidding process was completely disheartened to find that green building was incredibly expensive.  But that’s what put Kiki on the path to her new mission, which became this business.

We also gather product samples, assess existing and locally available materials and write reports on green design/build.  We research LEED for homes points for your project and can advise on LEED for homes as well.  We also will research energy star points, Green Building GreenPoints,  and help to procure federal, state and local government incentives
